Cubs outfielder Milton Bradley took an MRI Wednesday for a calf injury suffered Tuesday night in Atlanta, and the results showed he indeed has a strained calf as was first believed.

He will not play in the series finale tomorrow in Atlanta, and it's possible he will land on the disabled list. If I were a betting man when you consider the Cubs' luck and his injury history, I'd put quite a bit of money on him going on the disabled list. Lou says they will see how he looks tomorrow before making a decision:

"We're going to see how he feels [Thursday] before we make a decision on what we do," Piniella said.

"You know what the problem is?" the manager added. "I don't know if we have people to bring up."

Well, they can't just have him rot on the bench and waste a roster spot like earlier in the year.
