The Starlin Castro hype continues, and this time courtesy of Cubs manager Lou Piniella. Piniella might have Castro bat leadoff on Thursday in the Cubs' Cactus League opener, and has some great things to say about the 19-year-old shortstop :
"I'm anxious to see the kid myself," Piniella said. "He handles himself very professionally for a young kid out here, he really does. He's calm. He's not awed by being here. He's relaxed. He's not starry-eyed. If you didn't know he was 19 years old, you couldn't guess he was 19."

So yeah, Lou really likes him already, and it's always good to have the manager talking you up.

Regardless of how much Castro impresses this month, don't expect to see him make the big league club out of Spring Training. It doesn't look like he's too far away from unseating Ryan Theriot at shortstop though, and hopefully he'll be there for many more years to come.
