Cubs pitcher Carlos Zambrano and utility man Jeff Baker each ended up in the hospital yesterday, but thankfully each appear to be fine now.

Zambrano had abdominal pains yesterday and was tested for appendicitis, but the tests came back negative. Apparently the pains were just food-related, and he should still be able to make his return to the rotation next week in Pittsburgh.

Baker's situation was quite scary, as he randomly lost sight in his right eye during yesterday's game due to an occular migraine, something he's never experienced. He had to be taken out of the game in the eighth inning, and then was taken to the hospital, where he was given medication that returned his vision. He's now back with the team, and is available to play this afternoon against Chris Carpenter and the St. Louis Cardinals
